About me
I'm Jakub — a product designer and CRO specialist. What I love is the spot where design meets numbers: make a change, then find out whether it actually worked.
How I got here
For several years I've been designing interfaces for SaaS products, e-shops and internal systems. Over time I was pulled more and more toward the question that matters most to me today: did the change actually work? That's how I went from a designer who makes nice screens into someone who designs changes and then measures them.
What I believe
I decide by data, not by gut feeling. I'd rather make fewer changes, but measured ones. And I take a negative result seriously — that's information too. I don't like changes made “because that's how it's done”; I can back every one with a number or with what I expect from it.
Outside of work
I'm into markets and investing — I like how they mix psychology with numbers, much like CRO does. I read about behavioral economics, tinker with small projects of my own, and keep looking for ways to say complicated things simply.
